but your level of understanding. 

OldSkool.dj is not about DJ’s, but artists who have a greater understanding of music.  Who are able to pass a groove along all night, with timing, phasing, precision and an understanding that it is so much more than the mere matching of beats, but the synthesis of interlocking harmonies and beat patterns to form music.  The whole is far more than the mere sum of its parts.  DJ’s that are able to channel a groove through the PA, with intensity normally reserved for world class drummers, guitarists, singers, and jazz greats.  Manipulating the mixer and decks to make passion ring through, true emotion… 

Now that is oldskool.
